Happy Christmas!
Today, the holiday most kids wait for all year. In a flash, the joy, love, hope and peace leaked from those kids just after the unwrapping of the gifts was over with. What a strange little celebration, all the comotion for a full month, then BAM! Its over, within a matter of what seemed like minutes. I am not ANTI CHRISTMAS. im just, confused. I attended church today with one of my best friends. I am not a church go-er by anymeans, what i was doing there i couldnt tell you. In all of the joyous hubub, i decided to drag my ass out of bed to hear a man, i didnt even know, give me a lecture for an hour. I sat in my little pew and thought to my self...*what hell have i put myself into*. Now, i tried to go into this "experience" with an open mind. Needless to say, it slammed shut as soon as i heard the singing. I dont mean to go on this... religon rant.. but that was hell. A bunch of people gathered in one building singing to the sky... about a mans death millions of years ago. Doesnt seem right to me. What seems even more ludracris (not sure of spelling) is that people STILL believe everything this BOOK says. and that if its not in the book its not allowed. First of all, people get a grip. sure some of it is nobal to live up to... for example the ten commandments, great.. just giddy. but a book...its just a book. i dotn see the big deal in a book, perhaps people just need something to believe in... then believe in SELF SUCCESS! YOU my friends make it happend. no you cant always control what will happen. take it as it is. you are the only one who can change you life, you are the only one who can fucking help your self. mind over matter. sometimes it doesnt work as planned. but those are the time you need to take a breath and see what you can do to help the situation. i may sound like a jew.. but thats just how i feel.. it is diffrent times, more violence, more technology, more daring people. Intrest is was makes changes, curiousity... as soon as we all stop inventing new things, and go back to the times of jesus christ... then we can truely LIVE by the book. otherwise... find some new insperation. sorry if i offended anyone. ~J.Sass
